CONTEMPORARY FLAVORS

 

Locanda 53 began as the shared passion of Evelyn Dalgliesh and Carlo Faggionato — partners in life and in the kitchen. In 2020, they opened their Supper Club in Arco, creating an intimate and original space where flavour, creativity, and the joy of gathering come together. Their cuisine is contemporary and creative, firmly rooted in Italian tradition yet enriched with subtle, far-reaching influences from Evelyn’s Australian background. The result is a personal and evolving culinary style that caught the attention of the Michelin Guide, which included their Supper Club in 2023. For these special evenings at the Monastero, Evelyn and Carlo offer a four-course tasting menu that captures their personal approach to flavour — inviting, surprising, and full of character.

In a relaxed and welcoming setting, we join forces with selected local partners to take you on a culinary journey through the rich traditions of Garda Trentino. Tastings, stories, and a creative dinner come together to celebrate the region — with gourmet pizza as the stage for exceptional local ingredients. Look forward to Trentodoc sparkling wine from Madonna delle Vittorie, a guided olive oil tasting with OlioCRU, refined pizza creations featuring regional produce, and to finish, a grappa tasting by Distilleria Marzadro.

Veggy Lab is a travelling culinary project devoted to contemporary vegetarian haute cuisine. Born from a passion for plant-based cooking and the desire to explore extraordinary ingredients, flavours, and emotions, it reflects the personal vision of Chef Matteo Calcari — a cook and culinary explorer who combines nostalgic flavours with a forward-thinking approach. On the following Fridays, we invite you to experience his cuisine through a creative four-course tasting menu — a sensory journey of colours, aromas, and textures that express his unique take on vegetarian cooking.

Middle Eastern mezze Picnic

 

A summer night’s picnic under the open sky - inspired by the rich and vibrant flavours of Middle Eastern cuisine. At low, beautifully set tables with blankets and cushions, we serve a variety of Middle Eastern mezze — perfect for sharing and enjoying together. Warm flatbread fresh from the oven, a delicate dessert, and sweet tea complete the experience, inviting you to pause and savour the moment. With only a few carefully arranged spots and the tranquil setting of the monastery garden, this evening becomes a truly special occasion. The picnic takes place on selected evenings, weather permitting.
